This wonderful tour follows routes no. 204, 205. The starting point of this tour is right in front of the hotel. From there, we cycle to the Kirchberg tourist office and continue on forest and hiking trails along the Aschauer Ache, gradually climbing to Aschau (route 204). From Aschau, MTB route 205 takes you into the nature reserve below the Rettenstein. The route then steadily ascends past the Klooalm to the Ragstattalm, where the path turns left. From here, the route follows a peaceful forest path, undulating with some uphill and downhill sections, until you finally reach the valley station of the Hieslegg cable car (1450 m). The descent that now begins is still a little steep at the start and on gravel, but as the descent progresses, the path turns into a good tarmac road. At the valley station of the Pengelstein 1 lift, the trail crosses the main road and the Aschauer Ache. From here, we return on the cycle and hiking trail, which leads us back to Kirchberg.
